Job Summary

Seeking a Storage Validation Engineer with 4-7 years of experience in SSD storage validation. The candidate will be responsible for test case development, validation execution, failure analysis, automation, and ensuring product quality.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute test cases for storage products (NVMe and SCSI).

- Perform functional, performance and bench testing.

- Capture and analyze the USB/PCIe LeCory traces for the failures.

- Analyze failures, collect logs, and support root cause investigations.

- Automate validation activities and test workflows.

- Prepare validation reports and test documentation.

- Collaborate with cross function teams for issue resolution.

Required Skills

- 4-7 years of experience in storage product validation.

- Knowledge of USB and PCIe interface protocols, and NVMe and SCSI storage protocols.

- Familiarity with Teledyne LeCroy protocol analyzers, PCAP/trace analysis,



and protocol debugging.

- Valuable understanding of storage firmware architecture and concepts such as FTL, Wear Leveling (WL), and Garbage Collection (GC).

- Ability to capture and analyze JTAG logs, telemetry logs, firmware traces, and system debug logs.

- Strong programming skills in Python and C.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

- Master s or Bachelors degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
