:

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.

- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up to ensure on-time delivery.

- Analyze purchase requisitions and review specifications for accuracy and completeness.

- Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams for material requirements and specifications.

- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock levels without overstocking.

- Develop and maintain robust supplier relationships and manage vendor performance.

- Conduct market research and stay updated with industry trends and pricing.

- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

- Support new product development (NPD) teams by sourcing suitable components and materials.





- Generate procurement reports and analyze key metrics for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in a procurement/purchasing role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.

- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.

- Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and vendor development.

- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.

- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
