Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Networking Head to lead the universitys network, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and IT operations. The candidate should combine strong enterprise networking expertise with sound knowledge of software, applications, cloud platforms, and IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the university’s LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, Internet, routers, switches, firewalls, and network security infrastructure.

- Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, monitoring, and security of IT infrastructure.

- Oversee servers, data centers, virtualization, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and cloud/hybrid-cloud infrastructure.

- Work closely with software teams on ERP, LMS, student portals, databases, APIs, application hosting, DevOps, and system integration.

- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including network security, access control, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, incident response, and security audits.

- Drive IT infrastructure modernization, digital transformation, and smart-campus technology initiatives.

- Establish IT operations, SOPs, SLAs, KPIs, monitoring, incident/change management, and service standards.

- Lead and mentor networking, systems, cybersecurity, and IT support teams.

- Manage vendors, ISPs, system integrators, AMCs, budgets, and major IT projects.





- Ensure reliable IT services across academic departments, administration, hostels, laboratories, libraries, research centers, and campus facilities.

Qualification &

- Experience

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics &
- Communication

, or related discipline.

- 12–18+ years of relevant IT experience, with significant experience in enterprise networking and infrastructure.

- Proven experience in large-scale network, data center, cloud, cybersecurity, and IT operations management.

- Strong team leadership, project management, vendor management, and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience in a university, educational institution, multi-campus organization, or large enterprise is preferred.Role & responsibilities
