Job Title: Senior Manager – Finance & Operations

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Finance & Operations skilled to lead financial planning, budgeting, and day-to-day operational management. This role bridges strategic financial oversight with operational execution, ensuring the organization runs efficiently while maintaining strong fiscal controls.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Oversee monthly/quarterly financial reporting, MIS, and variance analysis
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk
- Drive process improvements across finance and operations functions
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements
- Partner with leadership on cost optimization and resource allocation
- Supervise vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiations
- Manage a team of finance/ops associates and analysts
- Implement and maintain ERP/financial systems and internal controls
- Support cross-functional teams (HR, Sales, IT)



with operational logistics and budget alignment
- Prepare board-level financial presentations and reports

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field (MBA/CA/CPA preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and reporting tools
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Tally etc).
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
- Strong understanding of statutory compliance (GST, TDS, etc. — adjust per country)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Skills

- Experience in a fast-growing startup or mid-size company environment
- Exposure to process automation or digital transformation initiatives
- Team management experience (5+ direct reports)
