Role & responsibilities

- Vendor Management: Identify, assess, and onboard vendors/brokers based on vehicle requirement clusters. Cultivate long-term relationships and resolve service issues.

- Negotiation & Contracts: Secure favorable terms, manage compliance, and continuously monitor vendor performance against contractual obligations.

- Operations & Cost Control: Optimize vehicle supply costs, track customer placement metrics (indent vs. actual), and manage vehicle tracking updates.

- Tech & Data Analysis: Implement an online vehicle placement app, analyze performance metrics using advanced Excel, and build strategic PowerPoint presentations.

- Market Intelligence: Maintain real-time knowledge of broker market rates and manage a Pan-India database of fleet owners and vendors.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Experience: Proven track record in vendor development, procurement, and fleet sourcing specifically within the transport/logistics industry.

- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency, data analysis tool expertise, and solid contract management capabilities.
