RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and act on the daily FRM alerts, ATO alerts, and tickets.
- Perform initial alert analysis (fraud alerts, ATO alerts, Sentinel alerts, and tickets) regarding actual and suspected fraud with referral to other FRM Analysts for further handling as defined.
- Take appropriate next steps in each alert: secure account, create ticket, update ticket with appropriate language regarding the alert, steps taken, and action needed by partner.
- Update WCA interactions screen with appropriate actions taken.
- Collaborate on new internal and external alert criteria.
- Respond to partner inquiries regarding alerts and action taken respond with outreach, updates, account freezes/unfreezes and take appropriate action as necessary.
- Assist in analyzing fraud metrics to determine emerging trends.
- Take ownership of work and proactively engage in identifying opportunities for improvement.
Provide support to ad hoc requests for alert reporting and data analysis.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred (such as finance, economics, statistics, business, information systems or similar).
- 7+ years’ experience preferably in the financial services industry and/or in a technical role.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
- Solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Proven success managing multiple projects with minimal guidance/supervision.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with Data Mining and Business Intelligence tools, a plus.
- High degree of flexibility, creativity, and innovation.
- Aptitude for a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, self-directed and team environments.
