Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior BIM Modeller-Infrastructure to join Buro Happold Cities team in Bengaluru to work on some of the world s best and most complex projects. Here at Buro Happold, expect the exceptional. As a Senior BIM Modeller-Infrastructure your role will be to develop engineering calculations/ sketches into 3D models via advanced modelling tools such as Autodesk, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks for clash detection.

You will also set up, manage and coordinate your models/drawings with other engineering disciplines and will be working closely with the engineering and client teams using BIM360 or ACC. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, with a keen interest in the built environment.

Responsibilities

- Leading the BIM/CAD team and providing support and mentoring to ensure quality in project deliverables.

- Responsible for supporting retention and succession planning of BIM/CAD team.

- Oversee adherence to technical standards and meet quality control and quality assurance requirements in accordance with BH CAD Standards, specifications and BIM standards.

- Responsible for quality and managing quality issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.





- The position will involve internal client liaison, assisting in the preparation of fee proposals, winning work to achieve team utilisation and financial control of projects.

- Responsible for ensuring work is delivered to budget, programme and technical standards and meet QA & QC.

- Direct line management, including mentoring and managing junior staff ensuring technical excellence is in everything we deliver.

- Helping maintain the culture and positive working setting in the team.

Qualifications

- A diploma or bachelor's or equivalent degree in civil engineering

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in BIM/CAD modelling, focusing on infrastructures projects
