Essential job Functions:

- Design and implement scalable observability infrastructure in AWS.

- Develop and maintain tools for monitoring, logging, and alerting.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks.

- Automate repetitive tasks to improve engineering efficiency.

- Monitoring the system SLA’s

- Publish System heal check dashboard to leadership

- Expertise in monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.

Qualifications

- Sr. AWS Data Engineer (AWS Data Engineer - 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, 5+ years in Spark, SQL, ETL Testing, AWS Glue, AWS Glue Catalog, AWS Athena, AWS EMR etc)

Technical Skills

- 5+ years in Spark, SQL, ETL Testing, AWS Glue

- AWS Glue Catalog, AWS Athena, AWS EMR etc

- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.

- Proven experience with cloud platforms like AWS Glue, PySpark





- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Required Technical Knowledge

- Expertise with observability platforms and tools such as:

- AWS Glue, PySpark

- Understanding of modern application architectures (microservices, containers, serverless)

- Knowledge with DevOps practices and tools

Education

- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.

- 7+ years of experience
