Job Overview: Peejay Ventures is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in accounting and financial management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks, including sales billing, purchase recording, payment follow-ups, client collections, and report preparation. The position also requires assisting the Accounts Head with additional accounting and clerical tasks as needed.

Principle Duties

- Prepare and manage sales bills, invoices and purchase records. Ensure accurate and timely recording of purchases. Follow up on payments and collections from clients. Assist in preparing various financial reports for review. Perform other accounts-related clerical tasks related to payroll and administrative duties. Work closely with the Accounts Head on other accounting-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements





Education

M.Com / B.Com; MBA - (Finance);

Experience

- Minimum 5 and above years of experience in an accounting role. Procurement experience will be a plus. Robust knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, Power BI and accounting software. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
