About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 7–10 years of experience in handling end-to-end accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of accounting, taxation, documentation, record keeping, and SAP accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash and bank transactions, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and financial records.
- Manage purchase, sales, expenses, payment, receipt, journal, and other accounting entries.
- Perform regular bank, ledger, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly and periodic financial statements and MIS reports.
- Manage GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory accounting requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, customers, and internal departments.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure proper documentation, filing, record keeping, and maintenance of accounting documents.
- Maintain proper supporting documents for all accounting transactions and ensure records are readily available for audits.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and coordinate for timely follow-up.
- Handle audit-related documentation and requirements and coordinate with auditors during statutory/internal audits.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures,



and applicable statutory requirements.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them in coordination with relevant departments.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial and accounting information.
- Support management with accounting-related reports, analysis, and financial information whenever required.

SAP & Software Skills
- Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP accounting/ERP software.
- Good knowledge of accounting ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Should be comfortable working with Excel formulas, reports, data reconciliation, and MIS.
- Ability to maintain systematic digital and physical accounting records.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong practical knowledge of end-to-end accounting processes.
- Previous experience working on SAP is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, taxation, reconciliations, audits, and statutory compliance.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment will be an added advantage.
