We are looking for an experienced Data & Analytics Engineer to support enterprise reporting solutions and drive the modernization of legacy IBM Cognos reporting into a modern Databricks Lakehouse ecosystem.

? Experience: 5+ years in Software Engineering / Data Engineering / Analytics Development
? Cognos: 3+ years of hands-on experience

? Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and support IBM Cognos reports, dashboards, and Framework Manager models.
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into scalable analytics solutions.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for enterprise-scale datasets.
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and Databricks.
- Develop Databricks SQL dashboards and visualizations.
- Support modernization and migration of legacy Cognos reporting solutions to cloud-native analytics platforms.




- Develop scalable data models, semantic layers, and reporting solutions.
- Implement data quality, validation, and performance optimization best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and release activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure reporting reliability and performance.
- Support enterprise reporting requirements across compliance, finance, operations, and executive reporting.

? Required Skills
✅ 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or analytics development
✅ 3+ years of hands-on IBM Cognos Analytics development
✅ Solid experience with Cognos Framework Manager, reports, and dashboards
✅ Strong SQL development and query optimization
✅ Advanced Python, PySpark, and distributed data processing experience
✅ Hands-on experience with Databricks Lakehouse Platform and Databricks SQL
✅ Knowledge of dimensional modeling, data warehousin
