Qualifications:

- Exp: 6-8years

- Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server Architecture and Database Administration.

- Hands-on experience in SQL Server Installation, Configuration, Patching, and Version Upgrades.

- Expertise in configuring and managing new SQL Server instances and databases across development, testing, and production environments.

- Proficient in SQL Server Security Administration, including user management, role-based access control, permissions, and authentication mechanisms.

- Extensive experience in SQL Server Performance Monitoring and Tuning, including query optimisation, index management, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks.

- Good knowledge of SQL Server High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HADR) solutions, including Database Mirroring, Always On Availability Groups, Log Shipping, and Failover Clustering.

- Strong experience in SQL Server Backup, Restore, Recovery Planning, and Disaster Recovery testing.

- Ability to diagnose and resolve database-related issues,



ensuring high availability and optimal performance of mission-critical systems.

- Basic to intermediate experience in troubleshooting SSRS report-related issues and report deployment activities.

- Basic knowledge of SSIS administration, package execution, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

- Experience with SQL Server Agent Jobs, Maintenance Plans, and Automation of routine DBA activities.

- Familiarity with database migration, capacity planning, and environment refresh activities.

- Understanding of database health checks, monitoring tools, and proactive issue resolution.

- Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation is an added advantage.

- Experience with cloud database platforms such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Managed Instance, or Azure Virtual Machines will be a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, stakeholders, and project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Microsoft SQL Server certifications will be an added advantage.

- Expertise in AWS will be an added advantage.
