About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MySQL Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust database solutions that underpin our critical business applications. Your expertise will ensure that our data systems are efficient, secure, and scalable, supporting the company’s growth and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database architecture, query optimization, and data security, with a passion for building high-performance database environments that meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A solid understanding of MySQL database architecture and administration is essential. Proven experience in writing complex SQL queries, developing stored procedures, functions, and triggers is required.

Candidates should have a good grasp of database design principles, normalization, indexing, and performance tuning. Familiarity with database backup, recovery,



and security practices is also necessary. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are vital for success in this role.

Knowledge of version control systems like Git and experience working in collaborative development environments will be considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain MySQL databases and associated database objects to support business applications.
- Create, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
- Design and implement database schemas, tables, indexes, and relationships to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Monitor database performance continuously, identify bottlenecks, and optimize queries and database configurations accordingly.
- Ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of data through appropriate access controls and security measures.
- Perform regular database backups, recovery operations, and maintenance activities to prevent data loss and ensure availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly, minimizing downtime and impact on business operations.
- Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and application teams to facilitate seamless database integration and support application development.




- Support and participate in database migration, upgrades, and deployment activities, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation outlining database structures, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Implement and enforce database security policies and access management protocols to safeguard sensitive data.
