We are looking for a skilled and reliable Spray Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing and applying paints and coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishing according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and removing imperfections.
- Mix paints, primers, thinners, and coatings according to required specifications.
- Operate spray-painting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect finished surfaces for defects such as runs, uneven coverage, dust, or color variations.
- Perform touch-ups and rework where required.
- Maintain spray guns, compressors, booths, and other painting equipment.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and proper handling of paints and chemicals.
- Keep the painting area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Follow production schedules and complete work within required deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Spray Painter or similar role.
- Positive knowledge of spray-painting techniques and surface preparation.
- Ability to mix and match paint colors accurately.
- Familiarity with spray guns, compressors, and painting equipment.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform painting-related tasks.
