Essential Job Functions:

- Provide hands-on test automation services to GA Bulk-PGP

- Understand the business requirements from the lead/stakeholders.

- Provide inputs for technical solutions.

- Build, maintain and optimize the testing/test automation artifacts.

- Learn, evaluate and propose new methodologies, tools and technologies.

Principal responsibilities

- Develop and execute test plans

- Design, write, review, and execute test cases to ensure functional correctness, reliability, scalability, and performance of a business application

- Analyze test results to identify defects, root causes, and trends. Collaborate with developers to reproduce problems and track defect resolution

- Create automated tests for regression, functional and load testing

- Assist in implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, developers, application architect and business analyst, to identify and fix issues

- Keep updated with emerging software testing methodologies, tools and technologies, and identify ways to improve testing processes

Qualifications

Required critical behaviours

Required key skills (functional/technical)

- Have 2+ years’ experience as a Test Engineer with overall 4-5 years of experience

- Expertise in test design and execution, including functional, integration, regression, acceptance, and performance testing

- Proficient in working with TOSCA

- Experience/Awareness in tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Postman, and Jenkins

- Experience in automated testing frameworks

- Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps methodologies

- Valuable Experience in analyze and interpreting test results, log defects, and validate resolution

- Proficient in SQL and database management

Good to have

- Knowledge of programming languages like Java, C# or Python a plus

- Experience in GxP Validation processes is a plus​

Required qualifications/experience (internal & external candidates)





- A Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent from a reputed institute

- ISTQB certification and/or Formal training and/or any Certification in related technology or process areas would be plus

- Experience

- Preferred: 4-5 years of experience in test automation & testing with onshore/offshore teams.
