Role Description The Space Educator will design and deliver engaging astronomy and space science sessions for students and other learners through classroom teaching, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.

Responsibilities include planning lessons aligned with SPACE curricula, conducting workshops, explaining complex scientific concepts in accessible language, and using educational tools such as telescopes and multimedia content. The role also involves coordinating with school staff, collecting feedback,



maintaining learning materials and equipment, and contributing to curriculum improvement based on learner needs. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dwarka, requiring regular interaction with students, educators, and partner institutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience facilitating learning for school or college students.
- Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills, including the ability to structure sessions, align content with learning outcomes, and adapt materials for different age groups.
- Candidates should possess clear and confident Communication skills, both verbal and written, for explaining scientific concepts and interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Training skills, including conducting workshops, demonstrations, and hands-on activities in astronomy and space science.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Physics, Astronomy, Space Science, Education, or a related field are preferred.
- Comfort with using telescopes, basic observational astronomy tools, and digital teaching aids is beneficial.
- Ability to manage groups of learners, maintain a safe learning environment, and work collaboratively with schools and colleagues.
- Enthusiasm for science outreach, curiosity about space, and a willingness to continuously learn and update subject knowledge.
