Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented procurement and sourcing engineer to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain handson experience in sourcing and procurement while contributing to our mission of building effective and transparent supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
- Conduct market research for sourcing ferrous and nonferrous raw materials and BOM components.
- Source large to midvolume semifinished raw materials (billets, ingots, blooms) and finished raw materials (rounds, plates, sheets, wires).
- Support supplier negotiations and contract management.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to understand sourcing requirements.
- Maintain and update supplier databases and records.
- Apply zerobased costing and conduct cost analysis.




- Prepare procurement reports and presentations.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Manage P2P and RFQ processes at KanaQ.
- Resolve supplier issues or discrepancies.
- Onboard and manage supplier/product databases.
- Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- 35 years of experience in sourcing and procurement.
- Degree in supply chain management, mechanical engineering, ECE, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, GD&T;, and material specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Adaptability to a fastpaced startup environment.
- High motivation and willingness to learn.
