SOURCING - HEAD

Experience: 10 to 15 Years

Location: Corporate Office | Travel to Project Sites & Vendor Locations

Reporting To: Managing Director / Executive Management

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Sourcing Head to lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities across our EPC and infrastructure projects. The role will be responsible for vendor development, strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, cost optimisation and timely procurement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead strategic sourcing and procurement for multiple EPC/infrastructure projects.
- Develop and maintain a solid vendor and supplier network.
- Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable vendors.
- Float RFQs, evaluate quotations and prepare commercial comparisons.
- Lead price and commercial negotiations with suppliers.
- Drive cost savings, cost reduction and alternate sourcing initiatives.
- Finalise and manage Purchase Orders, rate contracts and supply agreements.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials as per project requirements.
- Monitor vendor performance on price, quality and delivery.
- Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Finance, Stores and Quality teams.




- Ensure procurement compliance with company policies, GST, MSME and contractual requirements.
- Track procurement MIS, savings, open POs and critical material requirements.
- Lead and manage the sourcing/procurement team.

Preferred Experience

- 10-15 years of experience in Purchase, Procurement or Strategic Sourcing.
- Strong experience in EPC / Infrastructure / Construction / Railway / Water projects.
- Proven expertise in vendor development, sourcing and commercial negotiations.
- Experience handling multiple projects and high-value procurement.
- Strong market/vendor network will be an advantage.

Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering.
- MBA / PG qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement or Materials Management will be preferred.
