We are hiring a Solution Architect, SAP SD & IS Retail, to design scalable solutions spanning multiple retail formats, channels, countries, and business models. You will convert business needs into functional requirements, lead configuration and WRICEF outputs, and support integration, UAT, and ongoing administration across Europe.

Responsibilities

- Translate business needs into advanced capabilities using best-in-class standard packages
- Identify needed localization or enhancements and support them with clear business cases
- Create functional requirements that direct application design and development
- Propose solutions, configure the system, and author detailed WRICEF functional specifications
- Coordinate with offshore development teams to ensure technical solutions align with functional requirements and quality standards
- Perform unit and functional testing and support integration and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Deliver best-in-class, scalable, sustainable, and integrated business solutions across multiple formats, channels, countries, and business models
- Support change management efforts by providing training content and enabling organizational transformation




- Provide 3rd level functional support, application administration, and troubleshooting across all European operating companies in scope
- Collaborate with peers across applications/modules to ensure seamless integration
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure optimal cooperation
- Identify opportunities for business process and system enhancements with the vendor, and promote continuous improvement by evaluating work processes and user experiences

Requirements

- Demonstrated 10+ years of experience implementing SAP applications
- Expert-level proficiency in SAP SD and IS Retail modules
- Robust knowledge of WRICEF functional specifications and end-to-end solution configuration
- Experience coordinating offshore development teams and managing integration and UAT testing activities
- Understanding of change management practices, including training content development
- Proven ability to provide 3rd level functional support and application administration across multiple operating companies
