Job Overview:
Account & Transaction Reconciliation Analyst – Credit Cards
We are seeking a team of analytical and detail-oriented professional to support a targeted review of approximately several thousand credit card accounts. The role will focus on investigating account and transaction-level activity, tracing the movement of funds across systems, reconciling transaction histories, and determining whether individual accounts require further review for potential escheatment.
This is a hands-on analytical role requiring strong accounting and reconciliation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to investigate transactions across multiple systems and reach a clear, evidence-based conclusion.

Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed reviews of approximately several thousand credit card accounts and their associated transaction activity.




Investigate individual transactions to understand the complete movement of funds, including the origin, destination, timing, and nature of each transaction.
Use AUI, Appian and WebCSR to research account histories and trace transaction activity across relevant systems.
Reconcile account-level and transaction-level information across multiple data sources and identify inconsistencies, breaks, or unexplained balances.
Review supporting account information and transaction trails to establish a clear and documented understanding of account activity.
Determine whether reviewed accounts meet defined criteria for further escheatment review or follow-up.
Document investigation steps, evidence reviewed, conclusions reached, and any outstanding issues in a consistent and auditable manner.
Escalate exceptions, unusual transaction patterns, data discrepancies, or cases where a explicit conclusion cannot be reached.
