Role Description This is a full-time, in office Diploma Student role based at TI Automotive’s facility in Chennai. The role involves supporting engineering, production, and quality teams through data collection, basic analysis, and documentation of manufacturing and testing activities. Diploma Students will assist in preparing reports, maintaining records, and following standardized procedures on the shop floor and in supporting functions.



The position includes learning and applying safety standards, participating in continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional team members and mentors. The role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to automotive manufacturing processes and practical experience relevant to a future technical career.
Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
Foundational understanding of manufacturing processes, automotive components, and basic engineering principles.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
Basic computer literacy, including use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
Strong observation skills, attention to detail, and willingness to follow safety and quality guidelines consistently.
