UKG is looking for a Software Engineer III to join the team responsible for building and evolving platform capabilities for our Engineering organization.
You will help build, automate, and maintain capabilities across UKG’s public and private (on-premises) cloud platforms, with a strong focus on delivering a reliable and scalable Kubernetes and Cloud Experience for engineering teams.
The role involves working with technologies including Go, Terraform,
Kubernetes, GitHub Actions/runners, OpenStack, Rancher, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will contribute to platform engineering, automation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of our cloud-native infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Manage, improve, automate, and maintain platform tools and services across the organization, delivering value incrementally.
Software Development with an AI mindset: Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient software and automation while effectively leveraging AI-assisted development capabilities.
Design and implement automation using Go, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, scripting, and other platform engineering technologies.
Troubleshoot complex platform and infrastructure issues, analyze available information, identify root causes, and develop detailed implementation and remediation plans.
