The selected candidate will

We are looking for a Solution Architect who will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions. The candidate needs experienced in Databricks, SQL, Pyspark, Spark, Python, and ADF.

Architect will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and design data solutions that meet those needs.

Architect will also be responsible for creating and maintaining data infrastructure for our clients.

Responsibilities Designing and implementing data solutions for our clients. Working closely with clients to understand their business needs. Creating and maintaining data infrastructure for our clients. Identifying a companys internal and external data sources. Collaborating with department heads to determine their data storage and organizational needs

Your key responsibilities

- Collaborating with department heads to determine their data storage and organizational needs
- Experience with Databricks, SQL, Pyspark, Spark, Python, and ADF. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ensure the project delivery team complies with EY solution architecture standards and frameworks

Skills and attributes for success

- Deep understanding of Databricks, Pyspark, Spark,Python, Azure data technologies, SQL.
- Experience with delivering solutions in complex client environments




- Understanding of common business analysis techniques and approaches
- Experience of agile and traditional software and project methodologies
- Ability to author clear and comprehensive documentation
- Able to communicate with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clear to influence and align stakeholders around a proposed approach
- Strong negotiator, influencer and team player, used to managing multiple stakeholders in demanding time-critical situations.

To qualify for the role, you must have

- Designing and implementing data solutions for our clients. Working closely with clients to understand their business needs.
- Creating and maintaining data infrastructure for our clients. Identifying a company's internal and external data sources.
- Databricks, Pyspark, Spark,Python, Azure data technologies, SQL.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Science, other Technical qualification or related field preferred
- More than 10 years in a corporate IT workplace
- Good experience in client-facing roles

Experience of working with multi-location teams
