- Responsible for overall guidance of the architecture, design, and development of digital solutions for internal CSR stakeholders as well as external customers across CSR.
- This role demands an architect who is capable of creating solutions using a broad range of technologies.

Essential Job Functions:

- Design, plan and execute appropriate solutions ensuring alignment with CSR enterprise architecture & Business Unit (BU) strategies.
- Support the development of fully documented business cases, working closely with project managers, business analysts, other architects, BU stakeholders and IT teams.
- Collaborate extensively with the BU and Internal IT Groups to ensure all CSR solutions in Customer Interaction and digital tools landscape remain current and relevant.
- Proactively identify and promote business application and cost-saving opportunities for CSR BUs and customers.
- Translate and facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work effectively and effortlessly with stakeholders from all levels of the business and technology departments.
- Heavily contribute to developing a highly regarded, professionally competent business and service-oriented IT organisation.
- Produce sets of significant decisions about the high-level structure and behaviour of systems, or future systems.
- Provide best technical solutions to business problems that address all constraints and requirements by using professional business analyst techniques.
- Contribute to and maintain a library of re-usable architectural building blocks and design documentation.
- Provide functional and technical leadership through education, reporting and associated policies in respect of digital technologies.
- Ensure a proficient understanding of all products and services offered by IT and maintain a cohesive Architecture.
- Ensure all policies and processes to support effective project delivery are followed such that projects are professionally run, efficient and effective.
- Develop knowledge of the commercial aspects of developing and operating software/applications in the CSR environment.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, identify and manage risk.
- Continually evolve operational processes in support of an innovative culture whilst protecting CSR's assets and intellectual property.




- Proactively understand the group’s business strategies and develop & design an aligned focus of the IT Technology Strategic vision and plan.
- Develop concepts with the BU stakeholders to generate new major projects.
- Protect conceptual integrity of project deliverables, ensuring builds are in line with architectural decisions.
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats, translating into systems opportunities.
- Design, develop and execute a reliable, secure, and cost-effective business solutions architecture roadmap working closely with solutions and enterprise architects.
- Ensure that IT remains relevant through the incremental and experimental controlled adoption of technology solutions.
- Understand the business requirements and translate those to a tangible, implementable solution architecture.
- Maintain strong and effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the BUs and IT.

Qualifications:

- Willingness to gain familiarity with, and architect solutions involving Microsoft Dynamics 365, .NET microservices running on AKS, SAP ECC6 and S/4 HANA, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Commerce (Hybris), various Azure services, Sitecore XM Cloud, Next.js & Angular headless applications.
- The digital and insights team operate a large application portfolio; the architect is not expected to be an SME in all areas but will need to collaborate closely with the tech leads and SMEs to ensure the designs consider those applications fully.
- Excellent time management abilities with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and other initiatives.




- Digital application build experience both front and backend, in a complex workplace.
- 3+ years demonstrable experience in technology architecture and design, preferably as a Solutions Architect.
- Solid understanding of integrations of digital platforms to core ERP and CRM applications.
- Understanding of master data governance principles.
- Ability to converse with both end-users and IT employees at all levels of the organisation.
- Extensive design & integration skillset, prompting creative solutions driven by an empathetic understanding of key business challenges.
- Demonstrate complex problem-solving ability to understand an issue and identify potential solutions.
- Strategic thinking mind-set.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written & verbal.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Word and PowerPoint.
- Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Have mastery of remote working tools that allow for effective collaboration with geographically dispersed teams.
