Software Test Engineer Python Automation

Experience: 5 to 7 Years

Qualification: Bachelors/Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent

:

- Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports for production-ready software.
- Perform System, Integration and Regression Testing across the STLC.
- Develop and maintain Python-based automation frameworks and scripts using Pytest or similar testing frameworks.
- Identify, reproduce, track and resolve software defects.
- Integrate test execution and reporting with Jenkins, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Test embedded and real-time systems involving SPI, I2C, UART, RTOS, Linux/Android applications.
- Debug software using debuggers, emulators and compilers.
- Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to ensure software quality.




- Work in real-time, embedded, multiprocessor and multi-interface environments.

Requirements:

5 to 7 years of relevant experience, strong Python programming and testing knowledge, experience with industry-standard test frameworks such as Pytest, Robot Framework, TestStack, AutoIt, NI LabVIEW or Spectron, and robust debugging/problem-solving skills.
