Role DescriptionThis is a full time, remote role for a Software Engineer – Fresher at MakeTop Technologies, specifically open to candidates with 0 years of professional experience from the 2023–2027 batch.

The Software Engineer will contribute to designing, developing, testing, and debugging software applications, with a primary focus on software development and back-end web development. The role provides an opportunity to work on real-world projects, collaborate with experienced team members, participate in code reviews, and learn industry-standard development practices.

Key responsibilities include:

- Write clean, maintainable, and modular code.
- Develop and test software features.
- Debug and resolve technical issues.
- Work with back-end services, APIs, and databases.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Qualifications
- 0 years of professional software development experience – Freshers only.
- Candidates from the 2023–2027 batch are eligible.
- Strong foundational knowledge of Computer Science concepts.
- Basic understanding of Software Development and Programming.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases is preferred.
- Familiarity with Git/version control is preferred.
- Basic understanding of Back-End Web Development, APIs, and web services is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and logical-thinking skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and development practices.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical knowledge.
- Must be legally authorized to work in India.
