Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, and maintain big data solutions on cloud-based platforms
- Build and support data ingestion, processing, and distribution pipelines
- Design and enhance data architectures aligned with business needs
- Ensure high availability of the data platform and proactively prevent issues
- Improve data quality, security, and lifecycle management
- Work on data tools such as data formatting, anonymization, and secure data purging
- Collaborate with technical teams to introduce new data engineering approaches

Must-Have Skills

- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark
- Robust programming skills in Scala and/or Java
- Working knowledge of Python for data processing
- Experience with Hadoop ecosystem
- Strong background in ETL and data warehousing
- Solid SQL and database fundamentals
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments

Good to Have

- Cloud platform exposure (any major cloud)
- Experience with scalable and resilient data pipelines
- Exposure to data governance and security practices
