About The Role

The DevOps Engineer at CIBC India plays a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing the bank’s application deployment and infrastructure operations. This position involves overseeing DevOps and Test Environment support activities, contributing to the technical design, development, and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform applications. The role requires working closely with development teams, architects,



and infrastructure specialists to ensure seamless deployment, environment stability, and continuous improvement of the technology stack. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for managing incident resolution, certificate renewal, environment provisioning, and automation initiatives, all aimed at optimizing operational efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong background in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and middleware administration. Proficiency in managing highly available services on RedHat Linux, Windows, and RedHat OpenShift is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and shell scripting, along with familiarity with build tools like Maven, Ant, and Golang.
