Company Description The Association of Supply Chain Professionals (ASCP) is India’s first dedicated association for individuals working in supply chain management and related fields. Established as a registered body under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, ASCP aims to advance professional standards and knowledge in the supply chain domain. The association provides a platform for networking, learning, and collaboration through conferences, seminars, and industry events. Volunteers and members gain exposure to leading practices and industry experts while contributing to the growth of the supply chain community in India.
Role Description The Conference Volunteer role is a contract position supporting ASCP’s professional events and conferences. This is a hybrid role based in Mumbai, with on-site responsibilities at conference venues and some tasks that can be completed from home. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with event registration, guiding attendees, coordinating session logistics, supporting speakers and panelists, and helping manage information desks.



Volunteers may also assist with conference communications, distributing materials, and collecting feedback from participants. The role requires flexibility around event schedules and a collaborative approach to working with the organizing team.
Qualifications
Solid organizational and time management skills to handle multiple event tasks efficiently.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with attendees, speakers, and staff.
Basic proficiency with office and collaboration tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software).
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai during event days and perform some remote tasks as needed.
Interest in supply chain, logistics, or operations management; prior exposure to events or conferences is an advantage.
Reliability, punctuality, and a customer-service mindset, with the ability to remain calm in a busy environment.
