Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to join our banking technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing scalable, secure, and high-performance applications in the Banking / BFSI domain.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applications.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices using Spring Boot.
- Work with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and Product teams.
- Implement business requirements following clean coding and software development best practices.
- Develop secure and reliable applications suitable for banking and financial services.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide effective technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and application performance.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
- Integrate applications with internal and external banking systems through APIs and messaging.
- Ensure applications meet security, performance, scalability, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

- 4+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java 8/11/17+.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Good experience developing Microservices architecture.
- Robust understanding of REST APIs, JSON,



HTTP, and API integration.
- Experience with Spring Framework / Spring MVC / Spring Data JPA.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Good understanding of Junit/Mockito and unit testing.
- Understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices.
- Good understanding of application security and performance considerations.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

- Banking / BFSI domain experience.
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Experience with Jenkins / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies.
- Experience working in distributed systems.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2 / JWT.

Banking Domain Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be preferred:
