Role Description The Social Media Expert/Reporter role is a full-time, in office position based in Delhi, India. The individual in this role will monitor news and events, create timely social media updates, and report on current affairs relevant to the company’s audience across multiple platforms.

Daily responsibilities include researching stories, drafting news posts and summaries, preparing multimedia content, and coordinating with editorial and production teams to ensure accurate, engaging coverage.

Expert/Reporter will also analyze audience engagement metrics, optimize content formats, and contribute ideas for campaigns and special coverage initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and adherence to journalistic standards while maintaining a solid social media presence.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills, with the ability to produce accurate, timely, and engaging content.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills to convey complex information clearly across social media and digital platforms.
- Candidates should possess Multimedia skills, including familiarity with basic photo, video, and social media tools for content creation and publishing.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field are beneficial.
- Prior experience in newsrooms, digital media, or social media management, especially in a fast-paced environment, is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, analytics, and audience engagement, along with the ability to work on-site in Delhi and manage flexible news cycles.
