Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant- Snowflake Architect!

In this role, the Snowflake Architect is responsible for providing technical direction and lead a group of one or more developer to address a goal.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable data architectures on Snowflake to support advanced analytics and AI-driven use cases
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake-native tools such as Snow Pipe, Streamlit, and Tasks, as well as external orchestration tools like DBT and Airflow.
- Integrate generative AI models and Cortex AI capabilities into the Snowflake ecosystem to deliver intelligent, automated data products.
- Utilize Python to build custom user-defined functions (UDFs), stored procedures, and machine learning pipelines within Snowflake.
- Implement robust Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) strategies to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance across all environments.
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to enable deployment, monitoring, and scaling of AI/ML models directly within Snowflake.
- Incorporate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data formats into the Snowflake data platform to support a wide range of use cases.
- Architect data pipelines for real-time analytics, AI model training, and downstream application consumption.
- Leverage Cortex AI functions for in-database inference, vector similarity search, and embedded large language model (LLM) functionality.




- Continuously evaluate and implement new Snowflake features and ecosystem tools to improve performance and expand platform capabilities.
- Ensure performance tuning, query optimization, and effective warehouse utilization to meet SLAs and cost targets.
- Document architecture decisions, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications to ensure transparency and maintainability.
- Work closely with cloud teams to integrate Snowflake with cloud-native services across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Support enterprise data governance initiatives by embedding auditing, lineage, and data cataloguing tools within the Snowflake environment.
- Lead and mentor technical teams, ensuring best practices in Snowflake development, version control, and DevOps integration are followed.
- Should have experience in DBT.
- Must have Snowflake SnowPro Core or SnowPro Advanced Architect certification.
- Good understanding of agile methodology
- Positive to have experience on other databases and cloud platforms such as Redshift, Databricks, AWS, AZURE, GCP.
- Able to create POCs, roadmaps, solution architecture, estimations & implementation plan Experience for Snowflake integrations with other data processing.

Minimum qualifications

- B.E./ Masters in Computer Science, Information technology, or Computer engineering or any equivalent degree with good IT experience and strong experience as a Snowflake Architect.

Skill Metrix: Snowflake, Python, Gen AI, Horizon Catalog, Snowflake Cortex AI, AWS/Azure/GCP, Data Modeling, Design Patterns, DBT, ETL process and Data Warehousing concepts.

Good to have Databricks, Generative AI.
