Job Summary

Sigma Solve is looking for experienced Snowflake Data Engineers to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt, along with experience in modern data engineering tools such as Dagster, dlt, and Fivetran.

A valid Snowflake certification is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Build and optimize data transformation workflows using Snowflake and dbt.
- Develop data ingestion pipelines using Fivetran and dlt.
- Manage workflow orchestration using Dagster.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries.
- Design and maintain data warehouse and data models.
- Perform query, pipeline, and warehouse performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot data quality and pipeline-related issues.
- Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and consistency.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other technical teams.

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Valid Snowflake Certification – Mandatory.




- Strong hands-on experience with dbt – Mandatory.
- Experience with Dagster.
- Experience with dlt.
- Experience with Fivetran.
- Robust SQL skills.
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience with Data Warehousing and Data Modeling.
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques.

Good to Have
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices.
- Strong Python skills.
- Experience with modern Data Lake / Data Warehouse architectures.

Candidate Preference We strongly prefer candidates who:
- Can join immediately or within 2 weeks.
- Hold a valid Snowflake certification.
- Have recent hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt.
- Have practical experience with Dagster, dlt, and Fivetran.
- Are comfortable with a 2–3 month contract, which may be extended based on project requirements.
