Job Summary:

The Preparatory Department is the heart of the weaving process. It is responsible for supplying looms with back beams (sized beams), ensuring smooth operation and high-quality fabric production with minimal warp breakages.

The team ensures that all beams are in optimal working condition, free from deviations, and coordinates closely with other departments to maintain consistent production and quality output

Role Purpose The Manager of the Vensun Processing Unit is responsible for ensuring efficient operations, achieving production targets, and maintaining high quality standards. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily unit operations,

upholding product quality, and leading and motivating the team to perform at their best.

The role emphasizes cost reduction—particularly in size cost, cone remnant percentage, and yarn waste—while working to minimize loom warp breakages and ensure on-time delivery. Maintaining a safe working environment and effectively managing manpower are also critical aspects of the role.

Additionally, the manager collaborates with other departments and implements best practices to optimize production performance, all while aligning operations with the unit’s financial and strategic objectives.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring daily production and quality trends.
2. Ensuring the optimized yarn beam pickup by focus and monitor.
3. Prepare and analyse reports to identify key cost deviation areas and implement corrective actions.
4. Monitor and optimize the mixing process to ensure consistent quality and performance improvements.
5. Ensure that size cost, cone remnant percentage, and yarn waste remain within standard limits.
6. Ensure that all machine settings and operational parameters adhere to defined standards for





consistent output.
1. Develop and implement actionable plans to meet or exceed daily and monthly production targets.
2. Conduct regular quality meetings to review defects, control waste, and implement preventive actions.
3. Promote discipline among operators and raise awareness about the importance and value of the final

product.
1. Collaborating with the PPC team to plan daily loom operations, yarn requirements against order.
2. Ensuring safety compliance, proper usage of PPEs in the workplace, and addressing near-miss incidents to prevent reportable accidents.
3. Preparing warping and sizing programmes and sharing them with the unit head.
4. Monitor and maintain adequate yarn and chemical stocks daily to ensure uninterrupted production.
5. To ensure the production data entry on a daily basis.
6. Preparing and sharing MIS report to higher authority regularly.
7. Reporting yarn issues to the concern team to take necessary action for improvements.
8. Monitor the boiler license validity and ensure timely renewal to comply with statutory requirements.

Requisite Skills:

1. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams effectively to achieve operational goals.
2. Skilled in planning production schedules and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
3. In-depth knowledge of warping, sizing, and other preparatory operations, along with the associated machinery and technologies.
4. Good analytical skills.
5. Good communication skills.
6. Adept at identifying root causes of operational issues and implementing practical, sustainable solutions.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
