Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm & Public Address (PA) System Site Engineer to join our project team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Fire Alarm and Public Address systems at construction/project sites.

The candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating with contractors and other MEP/ELV teams, ensuring work is completed as per approved drawings and project specifications, and supporting testing and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and execute installation of Fire Alarm and Public Address systems at project sites.
- Read and understand approved shop drawings, schematic diagrams, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Carry out cable laying, termination, device installation, panel installation, and system integration.
- Handle installation of Fire Alarm devices such as smoke detectors, heat detectors, MCPs, sounders, modules, hooters, and fire alarm control panels.
- Handle installation and configuration of Public Address systems, amplifiers, speakers, microphones, zone controllers, and associated equipment.
- Conduct testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and rectification of Fire Alarm and PA systems.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, electricians, and other ELV/MEP teams.
- Ensure installations are completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.




- Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
- Identify technical issues at site and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution.
- Assist in preparing testing & commissioning reports, inspection requests, checklists, and as-built documentation.
- Attend inspections with consultants/client representatives and close site observations/snags.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with site health, safety, and quality procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, or related engineering discipline.
- 4–7 years of relevant site experience in Fire Alarm and Public Address systems.
- Valuable practical knowledge of Fire Alarm System (FAS) installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of Public Address / Voice Evacuation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/ELV drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of cable termination, testing instruments, loop testing, continuity testing, and fault finding.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to independently handle site activities and coordinate with multiple teams.
- Willingness to work at construction/project sites and travel to project locations when required.

Preferred
- Experience with addressable and conventional Fire Alarm systems.
- Experience with PA/VA (Public Address/Voice Alarm) systems.
- Experience working with reputed Fire Alarm/PA brands is an advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant fire & life safety standards/codes is preferred.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
