Job Summary

We are looking for a technically skilled Site Technician who can handle on-site quality checks, networking activities, earthing and pole-related wiring work, equipment configuration, and project documentation. The candidate should be comfortable working at field locations and following technical and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct Quality Control (QC) inspections at project sites and ensure work is completed as per prescribed technical standards.
- Perform earthing pit installation, testing, and wiring, including earthing connections related to poles and network infrastructure.
- Carry out pole wiring and related electrical/network infrastructure activities as required at site.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot networking equipment and related devices.
- Perform basic network configuration, device setup, connectivity testing, and troubleshooting.
- Handle knob/configuration-related technical work and ensure equipment is properly configured and operational.
- Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues, installation defects, and connectivity problems.
- Take and maintain GP/geo-tagged photographs of completed work, installations, earthing pits, poles, equipment, and other site activities for project documentation.
- Maintain daily site activity reports, QC reports, photographs, checklists, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers,



and operations teams for timely completion of assigned activities.
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, PPE, and adherence to site safety procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve field-level technical issues and escalate complex issues to the concerned engineer/project manager.
- Perform any other technical or site-related duties assigned by the management.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Networking, LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and network devices.
- Knowledge of earthing systems, earthing pits, pole wiring, and electrical connections.
- Ability to perform site QC and technical inspections.
- Basic understanding of network configuration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with taking GPS/geo-tagged photographs and maintaining site documentation.
- Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at different project locations and in outdoor/site conditions.
- Knowledge of safety practices and use of PPE.

Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Networking, Telecom, or a related technical field preferred.
- Candidates with relevant field experience may also be considered.

Preferred Experience Experience in telecom, networking, IT infrastructure, electrical installation, pole installation, earthing, or field engineering projects will be an advantage.
