Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and technically sound Site Engineer (Civil) to supervise daily site operations, ensure structural execution according to drawings, enforce strict quality standards, and manage labor and materials on-site. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact on-site, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execution & Supervision

Supervise day-to-day civil execution works on-site (shuttering, steel binding, concreting, masonry, plastering, finishing, etc.) in accordance with approved architectural and structural drawings. Setting out site layout, levels, and reference lines using leveling instruments and total station tools.

Coordinate with sub-contractors, foremen, and labor crews to ensure smooth workflow and productivity.

1. Quality Control & Safety

Inspect incoming raw materials (cement, aggregates, steel) and ensure slump, cube testing, and structural compliance as per IS codes. Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, PPE usage, and site housekeeping guidelines.

Identify execution errors early and implement immediate corrective measures.

Planning & Progress Reporting

Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR), weekly target sheets, and labor deployment records. Maintain site registers (cube test register, pour cards, material stock register, site diary).

Coordinate with the Quantity Surveyor (QS) for accurate measurement verifications and client/subcontractor billing backup.

1. Material & Resource Management

Track daily material consumption to prevent site wastage and unauthorized usage. Raise material requisitions well in advance to avoid site work stoppages.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Experience: 2–5 years of site execution experience in residential or commercial construction projects.

Technical Skills

Ability to read and interpret complex structural, architectural, and MEP drawings effortlessly.

Practical understanding of shuttering systems, concrete mix designs, and structural reinforcement detailing.

Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Word.

Key Traits: Strong leadership, site problem-solving skills, labor management skills, and explicit communication.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
