Role: Simulation Platform Engineer

Required Technical Skill - Automotive simulation-platform engineering, TDK-SmartBench or equivalent platforms, behavioral model integration, embedded software,

Python automation, BDD and Gherkin, LIN and CAN simulation/monitoring, automotive Ethernet, BCM and digital I/O simulation, vehicle-access and Digital Key models, steering-wheel-button simulation, Battery Health and EV-feature integration, test-framework development, test-environment configuration, validation and defect triage jira/TestRail/repository traceability, CI/CD, technical documentation and handover

Location of Requirement: India, USA

Must-Have

- Strong experience developing or integrating reusable automotive simulation-platform software, APIs, libraries, drivers, configuration assets, and simulation binaries.
- Hands-on knowledge of automotive communication protocols and simulation, particularly LIN and CAN message transmission, reception, monitoring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Experience integrating behavioral models and physical components with SmartBench or equivalent simulation/HiL environments, including BCM, vehicle-access, steering-wheel-button, or battery-related functionality.
- Proficiency in Python automation and creation of reusable validation frameworks, test scripts, test data, configuration, and evidence-based reports.
- Experience with BDD/Gherkin automation, feature-branch validation, regression testing, and applicable frameworks such as Slash, XiL, ECU Test, or PyTest.
- Ability to define simulation and validation requirements, interfaces, expected behavior,



test methods, environment dependencies, and acceptance evidence.
- Experience configuring and validating automotive test environments containing ECUs, simulation boards, LIN/CAN interfaces, physical BCMs, peripherals, and test-management tooling.
- Experience with defect triage, failure analysis, root-cause investigation, corrective actions, logs, actual/expected results, and reproducible test evidence.
- Experience maintaining traceability from requirements and Jira items to source code, models, scripts, builds, tests, defects, releases, and acceptance evidence.
- Strong technical documentation, stakeholder collaboration, review, demonstration, troubleshooting, and agile delivery capabilities.

Valuable-to-Have

- Experience with automotive Ethernet-switch software, subnet configuration, routing, simulation-board connectivity, or Broadcom switch integration.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR, Vector DaVinci, EB tresos, NXP S32G3, CAPL, Vector tools, or Intrepid interfaces.
- Experience with physical BCM digital I/O, ignition, key management, doors, locks, battery state, turn signals, brake/ABS, VIN, remote start, clock, life-cycle mode, and ambient-light simulation.
- Experience with NFC, NFCR, BUN, BUNA, RTM, MMC, mini-ICP, SCCM, IPC, Digital Key, Battery Health, or EV-specific feature validation.
- Experience validating audio functionality using audio boards and physical speakers.
- Experience with VHAT, VDP 1.x/2.0, TDBC, TestRail, GitHub, OEM-approved repositories, CI/CD, and test-management integrations.
- Knowledge of FNV 2.x, FNV 3.0, FNV 3.1, FNV 3.x, or FNV 3.2 vehicle-network and test environments.
