Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Shopify Developer role based in Surat.

The Shopify

Developer will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining the Antique Cut online store, including themes, templates, and front-end features. Daily tasks include implementing responsive UI/UX designs, optimizing site performance, managing product catalogs, and integrating third-party apps and payment gateways. The role involves collaborating with design, marketing, and operations teams to support campaigns, improve conversion rates, and ensure a seamless customer journey.

Developer will also troubleshoot technical issues, maintain best practices for security and SEO, and contribute to ongoing enhancements that support business growth.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Shopify development, including theme customization, Liquid templating, and Shopify APIs.
- Front-end skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design for cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Experience integrating third-party apps, payment gateways, and analytics tools within the Shopify ecosystem.
- Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, including site performance optimization, SEO fundamentals, and conversion rate optimization.
- Ability to collaborate with design and marketing teams to translate brand guidelines and campaign goals into effective storefront experiences.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and basic familiarity with testing, debugging, and code documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in e-commerce or jewelry/fashion retail is an advantage.
