Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Shop Floor Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations and ensure smooth, efficient and timely production. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in shop-floor management, production planning, manpower handling, quality control and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise daily shop-floor manufacturing activities.
- Plan and monitor production schedules to achieve daily and monthly targets.
- Allocate manpower and work responsibilities based on production requirements.
- Monitor machine utilization, productivity and production efficiency.
- Ensure production is carried out as per quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Engineering teams.
- Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective actions.
- Monitor rejection, rework, wastage and downtime.




- Maintain production records, MIS reports and daily production data.
- Ensure proper handling and utilization of raw materials and tools.
- Implement 5S, safety practices and housekeeping standards on the shop floor.
- Train, guide and motivate operators and production staff.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, safety regulations and quality procedures.
- Drive productivity improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
