We are looking for an experienced Shopify App Developer to build a custom Shopify app similar to SOBooster (Search & Product Filter).

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Shopify app development, search systems, and product filtering logic, and must be capable of building scalable apps independently.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop a Shopify app from scratch (public or private)
- Build smart search functionality (autocomplete, typo tolerance, suggestions)
- Implement advanced product filtering (faceted filters)
- Integrate real-time search results (AJAX-based)
- Design and manage backend architecture for search indexing
- Work with Elasticsearch / Algolia / similar search engines
- Implement merchandising logic (ranking, boosting products)
- Optimize app performance for speed and scalability
- Integrate Shopify APIs (Admin API, Storefront API, Webhooks)
- Ensure clean UI using Shopify Polaris / React

Required Skills
- Strong experience in Shopify App Development
- Proficiency in Node.js / JavaScript (or Ruby on Rails)
- Experience with search technologies (Elasticsearch / Algolia)
- Knowledge of REST APIs & GraphQL
- Experience with React.js & Shopify Polaris
- Understanding of product data structure, collections, metafields




- Familiarity with AWS / GCP or cloud-based architecture
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building search & filter apps for eCommerce
- Knowledge of AI/NLP-based search systems
- Experience with multi-language and multi-currency stores
- Understanding of SEO & performance optimization
- Prior experience with Shopify App Store deployment

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
