Role Description The Shift Engineer Graduate Engineer Trainee will work on-site in Jharsuguda in a full-time capacity, supporting day-to-day plant operations and engineering activities.

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment and production processes, assisting with routine inspections, and reporting any deviations or issues to senior engineers. The role also involves coordinating with maintenance teams, supporting basic troubleshooting, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards on the shop floor. The trainee will collect and document operational data,



prepare easy technical reports, and assist in implementing process improvements under guidance.

This position is designed to provide structured learning, mentorship, and exposure to real-time industrial operations for recent engineering graduates.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering principles, with a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to understand technical drawings, standard operating procedures, and basic plant equipment layouts.
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools for data entry, reporting, and documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with shift teams, supervisors, and maintenance personnel.
