About the Job

- Representing Enterprise Architecture and working closely with Business Analysts, Technical Leads, Project Managers, and other stakeholders.
- Contributing to the delivery of IT solutions targeting or interfacing with enterprise SharePoint / SharePoint Online platforms.
- Taking functional and non-functional requirements, applying architectural acceptance criteria, and producing artefacts describing the logical and physical design of IT solutions scaled for the enterprise.
- Developing and applying application architecture methodologies, standards, and leading practices.
- Reviewing business requirements, strategic goals, and objectives, translating these into a technical delivery plan.
- Maintaining awareness of new and emerging technologies, providing detailed analysis on capabilities and potential impact on the architectural landscape.
- Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) research and development, development and enforcement of patterns and standards, and technology evaluation.

Essential Job Functions

- Migrating mailboxes from Microsoft Exchange and other proprietary products.
- O365 administration: creating and managing user accounts, roles, delegation, backup, and restore.
- SharePoint administration and management, including troubleshooting organizational SharePoint accounts.




- Ticket logging and working with vendor teams for issue resolution.
- Migrating accounts from one tenant to another.
- Purchasing accounts and managing various service levels.
- Synchronizing O365 with organization’s Active Directory and MS Azure AD Sync.
- Creating mail relay for various organizational applications.
- Owning and delivering activities end-to-end.
- Working both independently and collaboratively with teams on various issues.
- Demonstrating in-depth technical SharePoint 2013 subject matter expertise.
- Proficiency with SharePoint configuration and customization tools, including SharePoint Designer, Napa, and Windows PowerShell.
- Proficiency in technical authoring, specifically UML, design patterns, SOA, EAI, BPI.
- Familiarity with object-oriented development, .NET Framework (C#), web-based development, and service-oriented architecture.
- Designing and developing solutions dependent on Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012 (Database, Reporting, Analysis, and Integration Services).
- Excellent client-facing skills and strong English communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Ability to mediate, act decisively, formulate action plans, and work effectively across geographical and cultural boundaries.

Qualifications

- Experience: 5–12 years total professional experience.
- Strong technical background with at least 8 years of commercial software development experience.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience delivering solutions for the Microsoft SharePoint platform.




- Strong consulting background; experience with large systems integrators preferred.

Industry certifications desirable:
- Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (SharePoint 2010)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer: SharePoint Applications (SharePoint 2013)
- TOGAF 9 Certified
