About The Job:

- Skilled ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) Developer to design, configure, and maintain SAM solutions within the ServiceNow platform.

- This role focuses on software asset lifecycle management, compliance, and optimization to help the organization reduce risk and control costs.

Essential Job Functions:

- Configure and customize ServiceNow SAM Pro modules for software asset lifecycle management.

- Develop workflows, business rules, UI policies, and integrations for SAM processes.

- Implement license models, entitlements, and compliance rules for major vendors (Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, etc.).

- Integrate SAM with CMDB, Discovery, and external tools (SCCM, Intune, Flexera, Snow).

- Automate data imports, reconciliation, and compliance checks using ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API).

- Build dashboards and reports for software usage, compliance, and optimization.

- Ensure accurate tracking of software installations, usage, and entitlements.

- Support audits and compliance reporting for software vendors.

- Implement policies for license optimization and cost reduction.

- Monitor SAM processes for accuracy and efficiency.

- Recommend improvements to workflows and integrations.

- Maintain platform performance and troubleshoot issues.

- Create technical documentation, SOPs, and user guides.





- Conduct training sessions for IT and procurement teams..
