- The Software Engineer will bring 5-7 years of ServiceNow application development experience to produce an industry-leading IT advisory services platform that is reimagining the way large IT outsourcing contracts are established and governed.
- The ISG platform features GovernX – the industry’s leading Supplier Relationship & Contract Management application which is built on the Now Platform.
- As part of the ISG Software Group, you’ll work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver tailored solutions that enhance client experience.
- As technical leads for agile teams, sharing collaborative leadership with a business-oriented Product Owner, deep ServiceNow experience is critical.
- Must be a good team player, quick learner, constant innovator, and appreciate other team members who do the same.
- Ability to collaborate and add positive energy to the development team is critical.

Essential Job Functions:

- Be a role model for excellent software development skills and innovation in the ServiceNow platform.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-challenge environment.
- Participate in code reviews, Agile Scrum ceremonies and retrospectives, ATF and other testing activities,



and follow software development best practices.
- Development of code to meet the design defined.
- Responsible for developing code according to defined standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and propose custom solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing custom code and configurations.
- Conduct unit testing and participate in system testing and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality of solutions.
- Conduct proper impact analysis to understand each function’s scope and perform proper unit testing once the code is integrated with other components.
- Ensure all developments follow best practices, security guidelines, and compliance standards.
- Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and other ServiceNow integration tools.

Qualifications:

Required Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science.
- 5-7 years of ServiceNow development experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and ServiceNow Glide API.
- Mandatory Service Portal experience.
- ServiceNow certifications in ITSM and related disciplines reflecting a dedication to becoming a technical expert.




- Robust understanding of the Now Platform including ITSM, Angular, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Solid collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Any API integration work between third-party tools and ServiceNow is preferred.
- Work experience in Agile methodology is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented workplace.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders outside the development team.
