We are looking for an experienced Service Provider ACI Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco ACI, Data Center Networking, Cisco Nexus, VXLAN, BGP EVPN, network automation, and solution design .

The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, migrating, validating, troubleshooting, and optimizing large-scale Cisco ACI and Data Center network environments . The role involves working closely with customers, architects, Cisco project teams, and operations teams to deliver enterprise and service-provider network transformation projects.

Mandatory Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI Architecture and ACI Fabric Design.
- Good understanding of ACI APIC, Tenant Model, Application Profiles, EPGs, Contracts, Filters, Bridge Domains and VRFs.
- Experience with ACI fabric deployment, configuration, migration and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience with Cisco Nexus 2K, 3K, 5K, 7K and 9K platforms.
- Hands-on knowledge of VXLAN and BGP EVPN.
- Experience with Spine-Leaf architecture, underlay/overlay networking, VTEP and VNI.
- Strong knowledge of vPC, VDC, OTV, LISP, FabricPath and ISSU.
- Excellent understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
- Hands-on knowledge of VLAN, VTP, STP, RSTP, MSTP, HSRP and VRRP.
- Strong knowledge of BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
- Strong Data Center routing, switching, network design and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with Python, Ansible and REST API-based network automation.
- Experience preparing and reviewing HLD, LLD, implementation plans and migration plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and support Cisco ACI-based Data Center and Service Provider solutions.
- Lead ACI deployment, migration, integration and upgrade activities.
- Configure and troubleshoot ACI fabric, APIC, tenants, VRFs, bridge domains, EPGs, contracts and L3Out/L2Out.
- Design and troubleshoot VXLAN/BGP EVPN-based Data Center fabrics.




- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus switching platforms.
- Perform complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 troubleshooting across Data Center environments.
- Develop HLD/LLD, migration plans, implementation plans and technical design documents.
- Perform solution validation, performance testing and network optimization.
- Automate network provisioning and operational activities using Python, Ansible and REST APIs.
- Work with customers and internal architecture teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Coordinate with Cisco/OEM teams for complex technical issues, escalations and troubleshooting.
- Participate in change management, implementation and post-implementation validation.
- Provide technical leadership during critical migrations and network transformation projects.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Cisco Nexus Dashboard / NDFC / DCNM.
- Hands-on experience with ACI Multi-Pod and Multi-Site deployments.
- Knowledge of Cisco UCS and VMware environments.
- Exposure to OpenStack, Kubernetes and HyperFlex.
- Experience with Ixia or Spirent traffic generators.
- Knowledge of Cisco DevNet, CI/CD and Infrastructure Automation.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Cisco CCNP Data Center certification preferred.
- CCIE Data Center certification is highly desirable.
- Cisco ACI and DevNet certifications are an advantage.

Education
- BE/BTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant Cisco certifications will be an added advantage.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in Cisco ACI and Data Center networking , with practical expertise in Nexus, VXLAN, BGP EVPN, routing/switching, network automation and HLD/LLD . Candidates with experience in large-scale ACI deployments, migration projects, Multi-Pod/Multi-Site environments and customer-facing technical leadership will be preferred.
