Role Description The Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City. The individual in this role will install, commission, and maintain wastewater treatment and odor control systems, ensuring efficient and compliant operation of client plants. Day-to-day activities include conducting equipment inspections, diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues, and performing preventive maintenance.

The Service

Engineer will visit client sites, coordinate with project and operations teams, prepare service reports,



and provide technical guidance on the use of microbial and environmental product ranges. The role also involves supporting client training, addressing service requests promptly, and contributing feedback to improve system performance and product application.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills related to industrial equipment, pumps, blowers, and instrumentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in wastewater treatment processes, biological treatment systems, and basic understanding of environmental regulations.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading technical drawings, using diagnostic tools, and following standard operating procedures for commissioning and maintenance.
- Candidates should possess effective communication, client service, and teamwork skills to interact with operations staff, project teams, and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess positive documentation skills for preparing service reports, maintenance logs, and technical summaries.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Chemical, or related field) is preferred.
- Prior field service experience in wastewater treatment, industrial utilities, or environmental technologies is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site at industrial and municipal facilities, travel to client locations as needed, and adhere to safety and compliance standards.
