Digital Minds is an award-winning marketing agency working with some amazing brands including Challenger Group, Servcorp, BigW, FedEx, BridgeClimb and Kennards Storage to name a few. We're growing our team and looking for an SEO & AI 'digital mind' with serious content firepower to join us.

The Role:

As an SEO & AI Associate (Content), you'll be the content engine across our client set and the person who lifts the standard of what we produce.

Day to day, you will take the content strategy set by our SEO & AI leads and turn it into work that performs. That means building briefs that actually direct a writer, creating and optimising articles or landing pages where needed and reviewing content across the team. You will be hands-on with AI in the workflow and more importantly, know where it needs a human.

As search shifts toward AI answers and citations, you will be central to how we make client content the source those engines pull from.

While content will be your primary responsibility, from time to time you may be asked to support technical analysis or link building.

Responsibilities:

- Creating content briefs that set explicit direction on intent, structure and internal linking
- Writing, optimising and refreshing articles or landing pages across a range of industries




- Content reviews and QA. There is more than your own output
- Using AI tools effectively in the content workflow, with the editorial judgement to know their limits
- Contributing ideas/opportunities in SEO & AI content planning sessions with the SEO leads
- Clear, proactive communication with the Australia & India teams across time zones
- Staying across algorithm updates, AI search developments and SEO trends

What We’re Looking For:

- Minimum 4 years experience in SEO with content as your core strength
- Proven ability to set direction, not just follow a brief. We're looking for judgement and initiative, not task completion
- Excellent written English. This is non-negotiable; your writing and editing quality will be critical
- Working knowledge across technical SEO, link building and reporting would be looked on favourably.
- Expertise with core tools (e.g. SEMrush, SE Ranking, GSC, GA4, Claude, Gemini etc)
- Genuine interest in how AI search is changing content and have views of your own on it
- Reliable, responsive and comfortable owning your priorities
- Attention to detail
- Goal driven and hungry for results!
