We are looking for a Senior Workato Consultant to lead the design and delivery of enterprise integration and automation solutions. This is a client-facing role that combines solution architecture, technical leadership, and stakeholder advisory. You will own the integration roadmap, set standards for the recipe development team, and act as the trusted technical advisor to business and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead discovery workshops with business and IT stakeholders to gather integration and automation requirements, and translate them into solution designs.

- Architect scalable, secure, and reusable integration patterns on Workato across ERP, CRM, HRIS, ITSM, and data platforms.

- Define and enforce development standards, naming conventions, error-handling frameworks, and reusable recipe patterns.

- Own environment strategy, release management, and CI/CD practices across Dev, QA, and Production Workato workspaces.

- Assess API landscape and recommend build-vs-buy, connector selection, and custom connector development where required.

- Provide technical leadership and code review for a team of Workato developers.

- Manage effort estimation, delivery planning, and status reporting for integration workstreams.

- Establish monitoring, alerting, and support runbooks for production recipes; drive root-cause analysis on recurring failures.

- Advise clients on Workato licensing, task consumption optimization, and platform governance.

- Produce solution design documents, integration specifications, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

- 8+ years in enterprise integration, with at least 3 years delivering solutions on Workato.





- Proven experience architecting end-to-end integrations across cloud and on-premise systems.

- Strong command of REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0, JWT, webhooks, and file-based protocols (SFTP, AS2).

- Experience building custom Workato connectors using the Connector SDK (Ruby).

- Hands-on experience with at least two major enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, SAP, ServiceNow, Snowflake, or Coupa.

- Working knowledge of SQL and relational data modeling.

- Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing client relationships in a consulting or skilled services setting.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Workato Automation Pro III / Automation Architect certification.

- Experience with Workato Enterprise features: API Platform, Workbot, Data Orchestration, Insights, and Event Streams.

- Background with other iPaaS tools (MuleSoft, Boomi, Celigo, Tray.io) for comparative architecture decisions.

- Experience with Git-based version control, automated testing, and DevOps pipelines for integrations.

- Exposure to modern data stack tooling — Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Fivetran — and BI platforms such as Sigma.

- Prior experience in a regulated industry (financial services, healthcare, life sciences).

Success Measures (First 6 Months)

- Integration standards and reusable pattern library published and adopted by the development team.

- Delivery of the first wave of prioritized integrations on schedule and within task-consumption budget.

- Measurable reduction in production recipe failures and mean time to resolution.

- Stakeholder satisfaction demonstrated through delivery feedback and roadmap sign-off.
