About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced and creative Senior Content Writer & Video Editor with 8–9 years of skilled experience in digital content, social media, YouTube and Instagram.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in content writing, storytelling and video editing, with a proven understanding of what makes content engaging, shareable and retention-focused.

You will be responsible for developing content ideas, writing scripts and social media copy, and creating high-quality videos for YouTube, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other digital platforms.

This is a work-from-home position open to candidates across India. The candidate should be comfortable coordinating with international teams and be available to work or overlap with IST, EST and PST time zones, depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop creative content ideas for YouTube, Instagram and other social media platforms.
- Write engaging video scripts, hooks, captions, headlines, descriptions and social media copy.
- Create compelling storytelling structures designed to improve audience engagement and retention.
- Edit YouTube long-form videos, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.
- Transform raw footage, interviews, podcasts and long-form content into engaging short-form videos.
- Add captions, subtitles, B-roll, music, sound effects, transitions, motion graphics and visual effects.
- Ensure strong pacing, storytelling and visual flow throughout every video.
- Repurpose existing content into multiple platform-specific formats.
- Research current social media trends, viral formats,



competitor content and audience interests.
- Stay updated with YouTube and Instagram trends, algorithms and best practices.
- Collaborate with the content, marketing and creative teams.
- Maintain consistency in brand voice, messaging and visual identity.
- Analyze content performance, including views, watch time, retention and engagement, and use insights to improve future content.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
- Take ownership of projects from idea → script → editing → revisions → final delivery.

Required Experience & Skills
- 8–9 years of professional experience in content writing, video editing, social media or digital content.
- Strong hands-on experience with YouTube and Instagram.
- Proven portfolio of YouTube videos, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Excellent English writing and communication skills.
- Strong storytelling and creative writing ability.
- Deep understanding of hooks, pacing, audience retention and social-media-first storytelling.
- Proficiency in professional editing software such as:

- Adobe Premiere Pro

- Adobe After Effects

- DaVinci Resolve

- Final Cut Pro

- CapCut
- Strong knowledge of subtitles, motion graphics, sound design, transitions and basic color correction.
- Ability to independently convert an idea or script into a polished, publish-ready video.
- Strong understanding of social media trends and platform-specific content.




- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills
- YouTube SEO and content optimization.
- Thumbnail concepts and basic graphic design.
- Canva / Photoshop.
- Social media analytics and performance tracking.
- AI tools for content research, scripting, editing and production.
- Experience working with international audiences or brands.
- Experience with personal brands, agencies, creators or digital-first companies.

Time-Zone Availability Candidates must be comfortable working remotely with international teams and have availability for collaboration across:
- IST – India Standard Time
- EST – Eastern Standard Time
- PST – Pacific Standard Time
